Raag-Bairaag
I was sitting with my chai in the afternoon and scrolling Instagram, just when the extrovert in me thought of attending some random event in the city. There is no single event that crosses by when I haven't given this a thought, but today I got up and booked tickets for an event called 'Raag-Bairaag'. I managed to take a dear friend along with me to witness some mesmerizing performances by 3 artists-Manaswini Sharma, Dil Mastana, and Yugm Band.
I am here to tell you how YUGM impacted me. I believe that everything is so synced in this universe. Nothing happens by chance. I saw the stories of this event on many accounts on IG and just like that planned to go. Who knew that I will come back with a fresh perspective towards where life is taking me.
I have recently joined a travel company as a writer. Writing was my dream job a year back and I already feel as if this was not so true. When I saw Abhishek talking about music and the band, his eyes sparkled. I have heard that people glow when they talk about things they love, and this was it. I saw dreams coming true today and guess what? Yugm, you made someone see more dreams and believe in them.
Besides, never ever miss a chance if you get to attend one of their live shows to listen to Mayank who, apart from being a flautist, recites beautiful poetries in between the performance, making the show more engaging. Yugm Band created a surreal environment along with Siddharth (guitarist), Aatmik (drummer), and Vibhor (guitarist & singer).
I also got to know that @tghcafe is building a community space for artists. After so so long I was happiest to acknowledge that I live here in Jaipur, among artists, and the event reminded me why I love this city so much.
Thank you for the immersive experience. May we cross paths again.
